Bad Sisters

Case Study

Photography As A Narrative Device - In the series, Stills Photography serves as a narrative tool. I supervised all still shoots in Ireland, coordinating across departments to ensure alignment despite the constantly changing schedules due to Covid-19. Collaborating with an external photographer, we developed a shot list tailored to the narrative and five specific locations. Together with the Art Department Assistant, we procured and purchased all props, graphics, and dressing required. Additionally, I worked closely with the photographer to direct actors during the shoots.
EPISODE 8 : ‘The Cold Truth’ - Lead character Eva Garveys' Architectural Practice I designed the feature architectural models displayed in the office atrium and art directed wall dressing of signage and graphics.
Art Direction - I was given some exterior sets to oversee and Art Direct. This included a couple of recce's with the Director Dearbhla Walsh. I learned a lot from this exercise, research, design, sourcing, working with buyers, arranging branding clearance and supervising installation. I especially enjoyed looking at the use of colour interplay on set in the design process.
